Started sanding....

well i started sanding down my car getting ready for paint...Camrs89 is helpin me....u think 3 coats of color and clear should make it look ok? Camrs89 had some pics..........

If you're shooting metallic base coat make sure you spray it on evenly meaning not just back and forth motions but also like a dusting motion. The main thing with metallics is to put it on evenly. If you spray it on too heavy or wet the paint will look blotchy or have dark puddles in it. Shoot it on using just side to side motions and you'll end up with uneven streaks. Always check with a hand light between coats to make sure it's even and if it's not, then mist on the paint on the next coat in those areas until it looks even. Same with the clear, don't spray it on too heavy or you can move the metallic around and also cause puddling which looks like a dark spot in the paint. Spray the clear on in very light, light, medium, medium wet and wet coats. Hope this helps.

sames rules apply if your spraying a laquer and not base coat/clearcoat??

because im spraying a medium-dark metallic blue, and its laquer paint
