Don't forget dude.
You can hit that with some good polishing compound and really make it shine!

Wouldn't that scratch and dull the shine?

No way. I've got the HotCoat kit for over 2 years now. Whenever I use the Chrome Illusion or 'almost chrome' I always hit it with the polishing wheel afterwards. Comes out nice.

Well I ordered 10colors lots of extra parts and stuff so it came to around $350.

Just the Basic kit is like 180. then what ever colors you want.

You need a compressor and a spair oven. You Hook a ground strap to the part. Spray it with the Powder for a Gun. just like a paint gun basically. get a nice even coat on the part. and Bake it in a oven at 400* for 20minutes.

I was told the reason for the spare oven is b/c if you use your regulare one it will make anything you cook in there after wards taste like paint/powder coating.

DO NOT use your 'food' regular oven to heat powder coated items. It is toxic..says so all over the manual. Pick up a used oven and use it only for powder coating and/or baking painted parts.
I picked mine up off a friend and it's been great for 3 years now.

Looks good man. The only thing about almost chrome is the fact that it is VERY sensitive to fuel, just about anything. You have to clear it, but that dulls the shine
