Finally, pics of my '88 IROC

The quality of the pics is really crappy. I couldn't do much better with the camera I borrowed from the library. Maybe I really should get my own digital camera ... yeah right LOL

Feedback would be welcome. I'm always looking for ideas on what to with it next.

See more pics here

EDIT: Screw the pics. I changed the URL at the bottom. This one should work. If not, somebody please tell me how I can directly upload the pics to the board.

why can I never get pictures to work?

I used webshots.com for posting the pics. they don't appear on the screen but you can see them by clicking on the URL... at least from my computer. The album is public so you guys should be able to see it.

Which image hosting site should I use to make them appear on the screen? Can anybody put the pics up for me if I send 'em?

You can host them in your yahoo briefcase make sure to change it to public. Or you could decrease the size of each file to less than 1.2mb and put it directly on here.

OK, I removed the half a$$ed attempt to post pics. I also replaced the hyperlink. It should work now. somebody please tell me how to post pics directly on the board. They're much smaller than 1.2 mb. The vB Code help section doesn't say how to post pics directly on the board. It only shows how to post them using the web.

For pics smaller than 1.2mb when you reply or post towards the bottom before the submit button there is an attach button where you can attach a file.

Great Looking Car! The 17" SS wheels set it off perfectly. Have you lowered you car? If so did you cut the springs, buy new ones, or get drop spindles. The stance is right on and is kinda what I am looking to get on my car. BTW, where are your fog lights?

Thanks for all the compliments guys . It's still a work in progress though. Going back to the paint shop next week. The 'new' paint job I got about a month ago is bubbling all over. The guy who painted it has agreed to completely redo the car again free of charge. He takes lot of pride in his work.

Yes the car has been lowered by about 1.5". It's a got an Eibach Pro-kit on it. I was first gonna cut the springs but then I decided to get new springs since the old ones were shot anyway. Amazingly, the bumper doesn't rub on steep grades much more than before. I have to be just a bit more careful now. The air dam does take a fair amount of bashing wherever I go. I'll probably use a heat gun to straighten it out, then trim it and mount it on some kind of spring loaded hinge that will alow it to bend back smoothly without ripping the attaching screws out. As for the foglights, they were MIA when I bought the car. I'm building a custom foglight and turnsignal setup that will replace the existing turnsignal assemblies. I have yet to find nice looking turnsignals for it though.

'89 IROC Vert, the tires are 275/40ZR17 all around on 17x9 rims. Wheel rub is negligible. Neither the rims nor the sidewalls rub on anything but the tread does rub a bit on the plastic fender liner when the wheels are turned to full lock. In fact, you can see it touching the fender liner in one of the pics. However, it's certainly not enough to cause any damage to either the tire or the liner since it happens only in parking lots at snail's pace.
