cant decide on what i wanna do
i cant decide on what color i want to paint the Z28
also, i cant decide if i wanna get a SS hood
also, i cant decide on what wheels i want
what i'm thinking about are these possible choices:
SS hood, ZR1 or Firehawk rims (not chrome), Z28 hi rise spoiler, and one color paint job
or......
stock hood, stock two-tone paintjob, and some IROC rims
heres some colors i am thinking of:
yellow, hugger orange, some sort of a blue.........
so many choices
Ive seen pics of your Z28, and I think you should restore it to its original paint, decals, etc. I think its cool when you see a really nice factory correct restoration. Personally I'm not a fan of after market wheels, and hoods. Try to make it look like it looked when it came off the factory floor. Just my two cents though. By the way did you get your headers installed yet? I'm getting mine installed in 3 weeks, so I am wondering if the air conditioning has to come out.

hey bon jovi, nice to talk to you again
yeah i kinda agree with your stock looking opinion, but then theres a devil on my shoulder about going all out
i was working on installing my headers tonite actually, on my Z28 though
i kinda accepted the tough fact that the V6's werent made with performance in mind
i still like them though
and thats not gonna stop me from hopping up the V6 a little
headers are gonna go on, but i gotta get my Z28 driveable first, so i can take my time putting them on
i just have to find some one who can weld on bung-nuts for the 02 sensors and weld on a EGR pipe of some sort
not too hard to do, but i dont know how to weld........yet
when the 3.1 bites the dust i'm gonna put in a brand new 3.4
but for now my hands are full with my Z
i just need a few more parts and i can put the tranny in
then i wanna at least get the headers on it
then i'll get it painted
and it'll be ready for backup so i can work on the V6
good luck with your V6
toast some imports for me

Well, there's nothing special about the stock RS hood, so I wouldn't think twice about keeping it, go for the SS hood. I'm not much of a fan of 2 tone paint jobs either.
Whatever you plan to do, make sure you get lots of pics for us.

Are you just going to be using your V6 as a winter car for your Z can stay rust free. You dont see too many Z28's like your white and grey one, atleast around here. I think it would be cool to restore it to stock, but hey aftermarket is alright as long a people do it tastefully. Have fun with it. Talk to ya later
