MY APPEARANCE PLANS (Zero Profile)

Well, I have mapped out the project for this car, the real sleeper. Zero Profile as I like to think of it.

The car will have no identifiable markings to hint to which of the carline series it is.

I plan on replacing the doors with fiberglass door skins, fiber glass front fenders, and fiberglass 2inch crowl hood.

I want to smooth out all the body lines, and blend the gfx into the car remove the side molding and shave the door handles and antenna. I want nothign but perfectly str8 lines. I am planning on getting the IROC spolier from ASCD. Also tint the windows to the legal max all the way around.

If you are curious about the engine, it'd be a 383 TPI on Nitrous, and oh yeah, the whole thing is aluminium. I already figured and priced a few aluminium blocks, the body work will go by fast, but the engine build up is a two year project. The interior is in the works....

Also, the paint job, 3 coats of jet black, 6 coats clear, wetsanded, polished =)

What do you all think?

Hmm.. weren't you fed up with that car? And didn't you buy a real IROC and sell your RS? What happened to the blue IROC?

I think the plan sounds cool, but blending the ground effects will be hard. Scauffiel (sp?) tried it on his Firebird I think and it started to crack. But good luck, sounds awesome!

EDIT: By IROC spoiler, do you mean 91/92 Z28 high rise spoiler?

Or maybe it's 4 words, No Money For Iroc.

I'd get some TrailBlazer door handles rather than shaving them off.

sounds like a plan Mike, can't wait to see it.

P.S. I think that being safe from lightening in a car is an "old wives tale", if lightening can travel miles through the air I can't see where a couple inches of rubber would slow it down any.

Where have you been, Mr. I'm 60,000 $ in debt and dont' have no money, I've got loads more than you have at the moment, and I'm not living with mommy and daddy like you at 29, and oh yeah I work too. You go aroudn this site pretending to have loads of cash and have your car already finished, and you always talk smack about everyone elses ride. For someone who is so in debt from what I've been told by clint and other sources, why do you continue to spend money on your car and still do not work for a livign at 29 yrs of age?

And you're not getting the 20$ bucks for awhile, ask your buddy clint the details on that one.

Why so bitter Mike? Still feeling sad from being fired from Kmart for those racial remarks you made at work? Oh well, you live and learn, well, maybe for you, you just live.

I never stated anywhere that I have lots of money. Everyone here knows that I don't have lots of money.
I don't talk smack about anyones ride, you need to look in the mirror and you'll see who does all the smack talking.
My car isn't done, I never said it was and I periodically post stating that it's not.

And this isn't about me, it's about you, pretending to get the Iroc and then saying it got wrecked, when in fact you never bought it.

And besides, this isn't the place to argue about petty things that aren't related to your topic.

But since you brought up Clints' name, I'll ask you a couple of questions.
Do you feel good about becoming friends with Clint and Darlene and then start messing around with Darlene behinds Clints' back?
That is pretty low.

And then I am nice enough to burn you a chip and take half payment and give you the chip in good faith thinking you are going to fulfill your part of the deal and pay me the other half.

I guess you can't be nice and trust people these days.

I am too tired. Maybe when I wake up, this thread will be locked or deleted.

Good night.

I am not sure if it is the same way everywhere in VA, but my step brother lives in Springfield and he just went through the yearly saftey inspection. His clear signals had to go. His neon had to be gone or covered.

You might want to opt to go with a flush mount door handle from an s10 or a intrepid like the one dude is doing on his bird. Shaved door handles are illegal in MD. Its not really an issue though because we only need to get our cars inspected when we buy and sell them.

I don't know if they have "friendly" inspection station around where you live.

wow. can you guys take your little quarrel to PM or something.. and, as an observation, I havent seen one constructive comment from flyinlow EVER. all of his posts i've seen are either making fun of someone's car, or calling it slow..

But hell, I guess that's what life is like when you're an E-thug.

As far as the appearance plans, I hope you don't plan on going to the track to run it.. Shaved door handles won't pass tech.

What does FlyinLow have to do with this?

So you never even got the IROC, un4given? Cause I don't ever remember you having pics besides one crappy one from the owner.

Might I say that these sorts of comments have NO PLACE on any of the thirdgen forums?

Mike, people have asked you to act mature, and like the Christian you claim to be, for a LONG time now. Apparently you pay no attention. So when you are banned from the board you will only have yourself to blame.

Check out this thread.. here he claims to just have decided not to get the IROC. Its a "long story", which I guess means he doesn't feel like thinking of a story or sticking to a story.

When you don't acknowledge the facts, and live in a world of imaginary (though falling-tree prone) IROC's, ignoring others is one of the easy things....:lala:

I think everyone on here has attacked you about that, lol.

anywayz, if its not about the topic, i am not answering, Manny knows me personally, and he SHOULD BE ABLE TO EXPLAIN THE IROC, he was their in the shop when i told everyone before me and my g/f at the time broke up. So he can answer anyones question cuase he should remeber but i am sure he could care less cuase he just want me to send 20 bucks and all of us in our group rag on each other, it wasn't ment for you people to jump in.

All I'm looking for is a simple admittance of guilt/stupidity. "Ok, fine, I never owned the IROC, and I lied on the Internet to impress a whole bunch of people I'll never meet" seems about right.

"the personal banner of hate"....lol......wtf is a personal banner of hate....?

....I think the 10% tint on the front would be illegal, if I'm not mistaken.

LOL you gotta love threads like this

as far as the mods...it would be a sweet sleeper
as my uncle would say you talk like a man with a paper *******
dont feel bad, ive got it to before, its would be a sweet ride though

and i think you should fess up to all the lies, come clean man!

and that one line you pulled kinda sounded like something al gore would say lol...about the personal banner on hate

and you did start the hole caleb selling the guages thing, im sure 95% of the people on this board would have done the same thing

and guys i think he's talking about the 10% tint on top of the windsheld, not the whole thing, i kinda like it but im tall so it sucks

well thats just my 2 cents
later guys

You really like the OZ Monte Carlos?
I think they look a little too flat from top to bottom.

My WS6 wheels look much nicer on my car I think,

Well i figured id chime in now......... Ive been visiting this site for almost two years now, and I specifically remember un4givin89 comeing to this site, and he ALWAYS RAGS on peoples cars! It is so dam annoying, and it comes off that he is a major dick suck, and now he is a piece of scum, if he bought a chip you burnt for him, and he only paid half and wont pay the rest...... Zepher seems cool as hell, and he doesnt seem to waste his money on stupid crap, he is always contributing info and helping the thirdgen commmunity on here........ whereas i dont remember one thing un4givin89 said that ever was useful besides worthless critisism...... but yea your car plans sounds alright...... but considering youve been working on your car for over a year, and i dont think you have any decent mods done, HOW ARE YOU SUDDENLY GOING TO COME UP WITH TENS OF THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS FOR THIS PROJECT....... lol like an all aluminum 383 TPI..... WOW
