My car has many layers of clear coat. The lady that owned it before me had it in storage over winter but not covered. It got bird crap on it and the clear coat wrinkled in a few places. I drive it to school and it got a few places where the clear coat has scratches in it. The paint is still good. Is it possible to just have the clear coat sanded off and resprayed or do you have to do everything over? I don't have the $$$ for a whole new nice paint job and I have heard bad things about MAACO. Would I save any money just getting new clear coat ?I can do some prep work myself. Sorry so many questions. Any help would be appreciated.
