What do you use to keep your drop-top clean? It seems that no matter what I spray on, there's still a layer of dirt embedded in the roof.

I usually scrub mine with some dish soap and water with a good brush. Then I hose it off really good, and get all the soap out. Comes out really nice too!
I have to say that for a 10 year old top, its still lookin pretty good!

I have to fall in line with the others here as well. I just use soapy water and a stiff bristle nylon brush. Then I hose it off with a jet spray nozzle, just your standard water nozzle.

Our top is 11 years old and it comes out nice and black each and every time.

I'll add another note though.
Be carefull around the edges of the top where the top meets painted surfaces. You don't want the brush getting near the paint. Towels and wash mitts only leave hairs on the top and it looks like crap.

I use Mother's Convertable Top cleaner with a stiff bristled brush. It works EXCELLENT and even got sap and stuff out easily when I park under trees.

It's a clear spray bottle with blue stuff in it.
