I would say yes. I got my GTA for $3000 which I think was close to a steal. other people got theres for like $4500, they don't need paint quite as bad, but paint would be quite that much :-)

Here's one for y'all: 1991 Camaro RS. V8 T-top, loaded, many new parts, 89,000 miles, $4,000/offer.
I'm thinking I should sell my POS 1988 SC with peeling paint and a ticking V6 to some loser and upgrade!

I paid $8,500 for a 88 IROC 5.0 tpi, fully loaded, T-tops, bose radio, power everything, auto, 25K miles, never seen rain.
Your's sounds like a good deal... under 10K per year... thats what it should be if it was a Sunday driver. I bought my car in 97 and it only had 25K on it because the guy drove it for one year then went to jail for 9 years and needed cash when he got out. It sat in storage the whole time. My brother bought an 88 iroc also a year ago with the 350, otherwise same as mine. It only has 12K on it...he paid $9,500 for it. He put on a Procharger supercharger... unbelievable car. runs mid 12s.
