My Rims Finally Showed Up!!!

I'm still at work right now but I got a call from the shop and my IROC is now sitting on 17x9.5 and 17x11 american racing TT2s. I'm running 275/40/17's on the front and 315/35/17's on the back the guy at the shop I spoke to says it looks bad a$$ed espically with the two 4" pipes out the back. So much for sleeper with my car I can't WAIT to get off work so I can go pick up my car!!! Man since I heard the news 10 mins ago time has been going really slow...... Just gotta count down till 5:30. I will have pics up soon

That is good news for you. But I wish it was my car getting out of the shop like it was soposed to today. It has been 6 months since I seen my 86. Would you be able to find out what spacers, backspacing, and offset they are using for that rim combo? I was planing on doing that same setup on my car and need some info. Thanks.

Front is 5.5" backspacing rear is 6" backspacing. It will require a bit of banging the inner wheel well but other than that it fit in pretty easy (final bill for having the tires put on the rims and the rims installed was only $150 canadian after our good old 15% tax too) so really it doesn't require all that much work to get em to fit. As far offset or whatever else just tell them its for an 86 IROC-Z they can figure out the rest all they needed to know from me was what backspacing.

I should have pics at lunch today I am going to go home and snap off a couple with my digital camera and post em up here. One word for the whole setup though SICK! I love em it looks way better than I even imagined it to be. The back view is definatly the most badassed looking those two 315's with the two big 4" pipes all the way back gets the message across to mustangs "DON'T F*CK AROUND" I will get the pics up within a few hours.. l8r

Or just go to http://members.cardomain.com/iroczz4

It is on page four of my web page. Yes my web page is a mess and I need to update it I know. Sorry about the crappy picture quality on most of those I took em myself.

That looks freakin' Sweeeeeeet!!!:hail:

How far out does the rear tires stick out from the well? I keep seeing those TT2's and they are starting to grow on me. Time to start saving money.

Awesome IROC, and the wheels are pretty sweet too...but for me the two together are like oil and water.

Very nice. I'd like to do something similar only going with 18's in the back. Does it hit your fender?

I wish I could lower it but it has a 4" exhaust all the way up so I already have no clearance what so ever..

Guy it handles sick!! My old IROC rims only had 225's on all four corners however I have some suspension work done to it problem was the 225's would always loose traction before the suspension would even really come into play... now with these tires it has CRAZY handling I was having fun with it yesterday on some little country twistys definatly made a huge difference. Yes I love the 315's glad I got them rather than 275's on all four corners it was worth the extra $$$.
