O.D. Tire sizes??

My C5 wheels came in today and now I'm tire shopping. From what I know the stock 91 16 Z28 tires are 26" OD. Will there be a noticeable difference if I get 25.0 or 26.2's??? I mean what size will make a diffence in speedo and odometer readings? Thanks for any info.

The 25 inch diameter will make your speedo read a little faster. So if your speedo says your going 65mph your actual speed would be like 62 or 63 mph. The 26.2 would be almost perfect

Here are O.D's from Bridgestone Tire Data Book

P235/55R16 26.1
P245/50R16 25.6
Both these sizes were use on 91/92 Camaros either will work fine and be within a reasonable tolerance for speedo.
For a 17" these sizes will be in the right OD range:
P245/45R17 25.8
P255/40R17 25.2
P275/40R17 25.7
P255/45R17 26.1
P265/40R17 25.4
and if using 18's
P275/35R18 25.6
P285/35R18 25.9
P245/40R18 25.7
P255/40R18 26.2

Hope this info helps
