this is going to be a street/strip car so could anyone show a camaro with the rear or front lifted so I can have ground clearance, and I am trying for one pipe on each side, I guess I just want to be differant, because all I seem to see Is the hooker catback on every camaro these days.

Here is a picture from the Pacific Northwest Camaro Club's All Camaro Show last year. This car belongs to Legburner, I believe he used to post here.

that is a bad *** exhaust and thats what I am going to try to install when I get back from vacation in the middle of july. What size tubing did he use, and what headers. I am going to use bullit mufflers. I hope it sounds good.

Holy crap! He has like no ground clearance!

My cat scrapes over speed bumps all the time, I can't even imagine how well that exhaust would fair.

I will definately need to lift my car a little to drive it on the street, and 86 street it just looks like your front end is raised alittle. I might have more room than that guys car, beacause I own a 82 z28.

its not that they cant do it. It is that they dont want to do it.

I cant find any pics of it, but in theory its pretty easy, just instead of a Y-Pipe, have two pipes that run side by side off the heads, and take the same route the Y-Pipe did down the regular way single exhaust does and put two mufflers where the one normally does.

it wouldnt be side exit but its true dual and would fit fairly easy, I'v seen it done before. Im sure people on the board have it.

BTW 86street where did you get air shocks and how much did they cost. Do you think it will look better than being lowered with a 4 inch cowl hood with the exhaust infront of the tire.

heres one kinda similiar to what I was explaining.

https://www.thirdgen.org/techbb2/sho...true+dual+pics

https://www.thirdgen.org/techbb2/sho...true+dual+pics this one could easily exit in front of the tires if you just get some tail pipes bent a lil bit.

This probably goes without saying, but you'd want a crossover pipe in there somewhere as well.

Bigger Rims
Try this, I put some C5 rims on my ride and the ground clearance raised significantly. ( 17 in front, 18 in rear ) . Might work for you. If someone could photo chop some side exhausts on my car, might provide for a better example.

I dont really want to spend money on rims because I am spending alot on the engine. Does anyone know where to get air shocks and how do they work?

I'll be trying for a true dual exhaust soon too. After I get the headers I'm gonna try and use Spintech's oval tubing and also their cruiser series mufflers, no cats either. I think the cruiser mufflers are 2 1/4" thick and the 3" oval tubing is supposed flow the same as 3" round.
You can check it out at www.spintechmufflers.com

i havent got any pics yet of the exhaust system yet. and its not impossible b/c i have it. and tehy just cant if u dont have any cats b/c that is a 10000 fine here in peoria. so in bigger cities its gonna be more. but it stops half way under the car. headers...pipes...flowmasters. and its so loud and deep i just set off a car alarm like 10 min ago.

also u can get air shock almost anywere. u can go to autozone or advanced for like 40 bucs or something.

Did you have to use spacers at all?

Well, when helping 86Street put his car together I observed his underside b/c I need true duals or 4 inch single pipe so I saw that the previous owner banged up the floorpans under the back seats to fit the mufflers in.
