What the hell is wrong with the nose? And that hood! That's one concept I'm glad never made it to production.

Well if that was a third gen concept car, then it stand to reason that it wold have been based off of the then-current second gen...

It sure was ugly though.

It looks like a Vette got rammed in the @$$ by one of those ships from the movie "Independence Day" and then had kids.

Looks like a cross between a 2nd Gen Camaro and a Pantera (some italian sports car made back in the 70's i believe). Thank goodness that never made it into production though ehh???

I think it looks great.
Maybe not something I'd drive on the streets nowadays, but in 1978, it was probably, um, "groovy."

It's a nice balanced concept, using a lot of common styling cues used on higher class cars of the era. The long hood, with the extended air intakes to emphasize the length, make you think "big engine." The rear-wheel covers, and the whole wedge-shaped package was hot back then. You can see a few angular body-type cues, which as we all know, was about to explode.
A few years after this, cars with nearly completely straight sheetmetal, and nothing but angles, would start rolling off assembly lines.

hehehe, that's freakin hilarious dude.

what you guys don't realize is that the same guy who developed that car probably went on to develop the pontiac aztek and vibe. 20 years later, he still sucked at his job............

Good thing that thing never came into production as a thirdgen, i wouldn't own one........

Dukes of Hazard doors....... , maybe on the general it was cool, not a daily driver

The rear wheel covers remind me of the New Honda electric vehicle.....
