Ok, i was just at the GM at Carlisle event a couple weeks back, and i saw alot of thirdgenners there, and i got a lot of nice ideas for dressing out my engine even more. However i cant seem to find a place that sells chrome thirdgen engine bay parts, do any of you guys have any sites, or places where i could find some of these things ? Im specifically looking for the chrome piece that fits right at the front of the engine, around the hod latch, its plastic on our cars, but i saw a few cars at Carlisle who had chrome metal ones and i liked them alot. I also saw a bunch of small pieces that were chrome on these engines. So.... if you guys have any idea where i might be able to find these things please hook me up I have addeda pic of my engine below, this was about 3 motnhs ago, since then i have added an edelbrock aluminum torker II intake, March Underdrive polished pulleys, a Holley 670 TB, and an LT4 cam. Im working on getting those pics up soon.

 

try a good pep-boys. ive bought a few parts already. like a chrome vacume adv. cover. its was like 4 bucks and took a minuate to put on.

 

jc, you can check out the pics of mine at the link in my sig. Mr Gasket used to make a chrome latch panel cover but it has been discontinued. I haven't found anybody that makes it. Mine is made of billet aluminum. There is a link on my web page to J & B Microfinish. These are the people that made mine. If you send him your plastic one he can make you one of polished billet that will fit. The only problem is that it's a little expensive. If you want chrome there are plenty of things you can take to a local chrome shop.
