What does this thing do?

On my brothers 82 z28 camaro, he has a switch under the headlight switch you pull out, we have tried to figure out what it goes to but nothing, we finally gave up. So what does this switch go to? It is just mind boggling for me but for you guys its probably a stupid question but i've never owned a third gen and the previous owner had no idea what its for either. I hope on eof you guys know.

My RS used to have a similar switch that was used for foggers I believe. If it is on the panel under the headlight switch, their is not always a predetermined use for it. I believe their were some that were blank. Don't quote me on that though.

I haven't seen a foglight switch you have to pull out, but I dunno, I guess its possible if they're aftermarket fogs

well

not to sound mean or nething, but if u look at the front of the car you'll know if its got fogs or not... if not, check to see if the wiring for them is there & put new ones on... if they are there & just dont work.. replace them....

Yeah the thing is though the car is my brothers so i don't see it everyday so my memory is short on a few things, i will have to check out to see if it has a rear wiper and if that works and also check out the fog light possibility

Does the car have fog lights, If yes where is the switch that works them? If you cant find a switch that works for them, that one is prob it, prob just a blown fluse. If the car has fog lights and you find a switch to work them than the switch is for something else.

Hers my 1991 fog switch
