Got a question about shining runners...

I did do a search, but everyone seems to talk about the Plenum.

I also read the tech article, which also starts off with the Plenum. For now I just wanna do my runners, and they obviously don't have casting on them like the plenum, so what sand paper should I start and end with?

I got them nice and shinny with just using aluminum polish, but I want them more shinny

Thanks guys

Since they don't have cast marks, you could probably start with 400 or 600. Then do 800, 1000, 1500, 1500 wet, and polish, but I'm not sure. Good luck!

plenum

So, how do people polish the plenum's rough surface? How do you keep polish or grit from getting packed in all the tiny grooves?

For rims, I was told the wetsanding with 1500 is what will give it a mirror-like finish. Thats all I did wet and my rims look damn good.
