Zaino: Questions after usage

Put on Zaino.. Absolutely speachless!! DAMN

Questions:

#1. I applied the Z2/Z5/Z6 on my windows.. Is this ok? Left them absolutely CLEAR but perhaps it's not needed and to just use my Z12 (Clear-View Glass Polish)?

#2. I used only 1/2 oz. on the ENTIRE CAR with 1 coat (including windows) and only 1/4 oz. for my second coat (Including windows).. Did I use too LITTLE? I know it's less than 1 oz. per coat on a car but 1/4 - 1/2oz. sounds like I should have applied more per coat?

#3. Z12 Clear-View Glass Polish says to use on NON-COATED windows.. What's this mean? Aren't front Windshields coated for a bit of tint? Windshields always displace water off them but differently than on the back or front. I have NO aftermarket tinting on any of my windows.

#4. How many times would you say you have gotten use out of your Z18 Clay bars? I found it tended to break into little pieces by the time I was finished claying the entire car. Each clay bar, how many times did you do your car with it? Before you had to go to the second clay bar inside the container.

#5. Z6 says you can use it to polish plastic.. Can I use it to polish the plastic air induction box on my 5.7L TPI V8?

Thanks for your time,

#1: Doesn't hurt, but I'd leave the paint products to the paint and the glass products to the glass.

#2: Sounds about right. More is wasteful and leaves residue in crannies.

#3: It means the coated glass like you see on Corvettes and Lumina APVs. Thirdgens don't have coated glass from the factory.

#4: Dunno, haven't used the Zaino claybar, but I've used Clay Magic and Mother's both, and I'd say I got about 6 or 7 uses out of them before they got too bad to use anymore.

#5: Yes, but I'd go ahead and buff it out with something first (I used Eastwood's plastic polish and a buffing wheel).

I'm pretty much gonna agree with Jza on all those, just thought I'd add a little about the claybar. I've done my Formula twice, the merkur once, my sisters car once, and my grandmas car once. It's a little dirty now but if you keep pulling it apart and pushing it back together (if that makes sense), you can always expose a clean part of it. I expect to be able to use it a few more times. As far as it breaking into little pieces, I haven't noticed that at all with mine. What are you using as a lubricant for it? Maybe you're not using enough.

Here's a clay bar question. Is there really a difference bewteen diff brands? I mean, they're all made of clay.

Actually I think there are some differences. The ones we use at work are like a light purple color and are really sticky. After you use them your hands are all purple and nasty. The Zaino bar is nothing like that.
