well I have a few of pics of my lt1 intake, but I dont have the heater box hooked up or the coolant lines.

here is another one of the side of the car since most of the ppl havent seen it yet. The body needs some work but thats my next step after my interior is done.

yeah I know so far everything is good, but we will see how it runs. I just wish she looked better on the outside but hey I got the engine done and thats the most important right?

That was my plan, get my car rocking and rolling (383/T56 will do that), then work on the looks which Im doing now .

what the hell???????
whats that pulley where the ac used to be? is it a 1le a/c delete pulley?

if so tell me were i can get one!!!

yeha its the 1le pulley. You can get it from the dealer or
www.gmpartsdirect.com I dotn remember the part # off hand but I can look it up. it was around 50 or so I dont remember.

Wow, it makes the motor look so small. Too bad I'd have to convert to MPFI to run one of those, probably better on the top end than a TPI unit is though I'm sure a little less low end too. Thats definately cool, if you can get your hands on one.

Yeah it looks really nice, but im some way I think the drivers side is kinda cluttered with the hoses and all that over there, but it still looks good. It does make it look smaller cause the lt1 intake sit so much lower. Yeah I dunno how much better it is on the top end but from what I hear it is better. Im not real concerned on the low end so much cause I had traction problems as it was anyway. It will look better once I get my thirdgen heater only box in there. Also I still need to put my new struts in and new strut tower mounts.

Your install looks really good! I have not been following your project so I am probably asking a question that has already been answered. Is your motor a factory L-98 or LT1? Is it a true LT1 intake or is it a Mini-Ram? The reason I ask is because I see you have the dist. in the back instead of the crank trigger ign.

Its the factory l98, but its rebuilt. Bottom end is all forged and bored over. I still have the factory heads and cam for now(L98) Its just a lt1 intake. Im hoping to have it running here in the next week or so.

Anybody know where I can get stuff to cover my heater hoses. Its like that stainless steel covering but black. I know John had it on his lt1 swap, but he said he got it in his shop and cant get it anymore. Someone told me to go to this site http://order.waytekwire.com/CGI-BIN/...B29024+M36+ENG they have expandable sleeving or whatever but it looks like you gotta buy a lot of it to order it.

It's made of nylon (or plastic), not a metal at all. We call it "snakeskin" in aviation field since it does look like that. GM used it sometimes on new cars over hoses to prevent chaffing.
