I was looking around on the web for this and couldn't find anything on it.

I saw a thirdgen at a car show with window tint on all the lights except headlights, and it looked great.

The guy kept his 3rd gen in a garage all the time, and I can't, so I was wondering about durability. I don't want to tint them , and then have it fall of in a month. I live in Ohio so it's very hot in the summer, and very cold in the winter. I had plastic covers on the taillights, but it got so cold, that the tape froze and they fell off.

So back to the original question, has anyone ever film tinted anything on the exterior?

I know a guy around here who has a 89 firebird who tinted his tailights with window-tint. It has been on for a while, but it leaves much to be desired in the appearance section.
