Hood louver repair question

I have no idea how this happened. Kids playing with bricks? Some fat **** sat on it? Who knows.
I tried very carefully to try and lift it back up, sliding a butter knife along the lip and chipped off a bit of paint! Do these come off, if so how?
I saw a nut the underside of the hood, is that the only one holding it on? Do you think this can be fixed? Car was just painted a few months ago too!

Every friggin time I wash this car, I find another chip, ding, dent etc... grrrrrrrrrrrrr

Any advice would be greatly appreciated
Thanx, Marie

The paint on my RS wasnt the best but it was crappy either, i never noticed and paint chips really, but now i got my mint Z28 with awesome paint, im now noticing little things like rock chips and such, so you prolly are noticing it because its new paint and it should be mint, so any little imperfection will show
