I was wondering if anyone has any experience dealing with the Centerline Telstar rims? I was thinking of getting 15x8 with a 5" backspace and 275/50/15 tires. Did anyone have any problems with rubbing the inside or did it fit just fine? I have a choice of a 4.5" or 5" and want to make sure I get it right.

Yep they will fit no rubbing on the inside with a 295/50/15! 5" are the way to go! 4.5 will stick outside th fender.

Dude let me get you some pic's. I've got the 15x8's and 15x4's on my 92. I'm not sure of the backspacing right now but i'll check my receipt when i get home this morning. I'll be getting a new digital camera today so i'll post some later. Mine don't stick out and they are really close to the inner fenderwell, but it doesn't touch. They sure do look sharp too. I have BFG DR's mounted on mine.

Looking good. I wonder if a 5" backspacing would work. Someone said it would fit with no problems.

That is the size 165R15. There is nothing else on the sidewall, don't worry the tire guys will know exactly waht you are putting them on, unless they are that retarded. Thanks on the compliments, like i said more pics of whole car in sunlight tomorrow.

As I stated in the first reply a 5" backspace fits best with a 295/50/15 Radial They don't stick out at all.6's or 4's have the right backspacing for the front their are no optional Backspacing for those fronts. Here is a side picture of the camaro I just sold sorry I don't have any front back pics.

I'm about to get these. 15x7 front/15x8 rear. I called Centerline and they said to go 4.5" backspacing all around with this setup. Could I go 5" for the rear though?

I was wondering the same thing. Anyone know? Oh by the way does the 5" back spacing require any massaging on the back of the fenderwells?

They are forged aluminum just like Welds. I don't think a 5" BS would require that. I just ordered a pair of 15x7s for the front and 15x8s on the rear, with 4.5 BS all around. This is what Centerline told me to get when I called. I plan on running a 275/60 in the future, so that's another reason I got the 4.5 rear spacing. Right now I've got 255/60.

If they don't make them in 16 inch then that is something that Centerline changed in the last year. I had to order them through a tire store though. I wanted something that resembled the original 5 spoke look but with a dished look like the GTA wheels. These fit the bill perfect.

Hey, Slush92RS with your set up and the 4.5" backspacing howmuch room do you have on the inside of the wheel well between the the tire?

Does any one have any pics of a set up with 5" backspacing?

and yes these rims are HOT!
