Who has 15x10's on their ride???

I want to put some 15x10's on my car and I want to lower the car a bit to give it the musclecar stance. I'll put some 295/50's on there. Who has some?? i NEED TO KNOW THE BACK SPACING MEASUREMENTS SO I CAN LOWER IT ABOUT 1.5-2 INCHES WITH NO SCRAPING. IF IT STICKS OUT TOO FAR IT'LL RUB ON THE FENDER LIP, I'll put 15x 8's on the front too to retain some handling. My guess on the back spacing is 4.5- 5 inches, not positive though.

my friend runs 15x10" rims with 5.5" backspacing. He uses 28x9" slicks on the back with absolutely no problems.

Allen-It wouldnt look hickish if you fixed the backspacing. 15x10's would fit so you could keep the tire. Just something to consider when you find a job at school. Maybe see if someone was wanting to trade rims? plus i have those 16's if you want those.

Ya man, those are like 15X8s or so. They're not that wide, they just stick out due to improper backspacing. Or proper backspacing all depends how you look at it. BTW I forget his name, theres another guy on here with a car that looks very similar to yours that just joined, its a black 86 or 87 Z with I think a 4" cowl and Z wing just like yours.

Those arent 15x10's I'm pretty sure. Compare those to the Cragar rims I have. Those are 10 inches wide and they are pretty deep. I would say they are 15x8

Are you sure

Those really don't look like 15x10's when they're on the car- they look like 15x8's if they are 15x10, I'm very interested, and since I started this thread, maybe you'll wanna sell um to me...(hehe)

That's the look I want, tucked under and fat, later I want 295 50's though.

MAKE SURE THAT THEY ARE 15X10, AND MAYBE WE CAN CUT A DEAL, ALSO TAKE A FEW PICS OF THE TIRE TREAD, I DON'T WANT ANY BLOW OUTS, IT HAPPENED TO ME BEFORE IN 2 WEEKS AFTER BUYING A USED SET. tORE THE SIDE OF MY CAR UP....

heres some more pictures i tried behind it and thw pictures all come out dark but hopefully they do them a little justice. Also thr tread and If you buy them the rear tires are 265 50 and have 1/4 of tread left the front tires are worthless so i would just ship the front rims. which are 15x4. Oh yeah i almost forgot they are 15x10 but putting 295 50's on i think you would need spacers.

I thought

Didn't you say that the rears were 275's, which are they, and what is the tire make??? If you turn the car around or something, so that the sun is facing taward the rear of the car, and take another pic, I'd appreciate it, I can't really see the stance cause it pretty dark.

i messed up they are only 265 they are futura gl or sometihing like that the tires arent worth to much so if you would want to put on 295 i could just sell you the rims. i will try to put a spotlight on the bottom of the car or something i couldnt get enought light too really see under it when i tried.

Are you sure? Because 255s sidewalls would be stretched to hell on a 10" wide wheel I'm pretty sure. Thats about the size you'd normally put on a 8 inch wide wheel, 245 or 255. Heck I've got 235s on my 15X7 wheels. I'm not saying 100% for a fact.. I'm just saying thats what I think.

If you saw other pictures of his car, you will see that they are stretched alot. I reccommended to him along time ago to get wider tires because 255s are really for some 8s. His wheels are 10s.

You all dont know what your talking about if you think the wheels arent 10 inchs wide. What good would it do me to lie. If you look at the picture in the first group upper right you can see how wide they are. You can put a much wider tire on it i am aware of this but if you dont want them rubbing this is as big a tire i could get.

I couldn't really tell... I wasn't looking very closely at that. You might be right, because now that you think about it, up close they did look kinda stretched. Hey whatever, I never said I knew everything.
