YES! Went down to the paint shop today, they have my car PAINTED! I took pics but I need to have the film developed.

The side mouldings are no longer black, and while I do not remember asking for this, they look good in silver. And the mirrors are now silver, which is what they are supposed to be, but I'd asked for gunemtal gray. (if they'd looked bad I would have had the guy change it)

The guy in charge of my car seems to have not liked the work previously done to it, so the car has had all but the hood and nose painted again.

All that's left now are the door handles, which WILL be gray, to put everything back together and to put the stripes on! I'M SO VERY EXCITED!

Excellent,
Now all I would do is get some 15" Z-28/RS wheels, you know the five star ones and paint them to match the lower color of your car. They would look a lot better than those boring steel ones on there now, but your car would still look original!!

Hm, I dunno, 83firebird, I've always liked those wheels. In fact I'm trying to find one that isnt bent, to put on there.

Don't get me wrong, I've thought about all sorts of wheels to put on there, I just never thought any of them would go. Not to mention I didnt think about painting them to match the bottom of the car o.o....

I still think I'll haveto wait til after my birthday, this Sunday, to get my car back. But as long as they do a good job, it's ok. I still don't know what the heck they're going to do about that back bumper decal, though....

What ever you like then. Are the steel wheels on there now 14 or 15 inch ones? You see I like the look of the largest size for the model in this case 15 inch along with the Pro Kit and no GFX. It looks really mean that way along with 235/60R15 BFGoodrige rubber. That is what I have on my brown S/E in the sig.

They are 15 inch wheels. I can't stand anything smaller. My Mom's old red 85 SC had 14's....didn't really like them....

Your Firebird looks great...I love the wheels on there.
