Wheel fitment

hey guys,

ive just saved up enough to finally get my cofddington smoothie wheels and i want to be 110% sure on size before i go ahead and lay down my $$$.

i have an eibach prokit on my 89 iroc vert. koni yellows all the way around, in other words, i have barely any suspension travel.
im looking at picking up 17x9.5's w/ 5.5' backspace for the front and 17x11's w/ 7" backspace. i am confidant that the fronts will be fine (no rubbing), but i was wondering about the 7" BS in the back. is that enough? too much? will i have to get the wheel wells hammered out a bit? i dont want to roll the fender lipbut at the same time, i dont want the tires to stick out past the fenders.

any advice on this?
