I'm working on it, but not in the high-rise spoiler. I've got a spare spoiler for my 85 and a 15-18" LED strip from a mitsubishi eclipse. Right now I'm searching for a suitable red lense that I can flush mount into the spoiler.
What spoiler are you puting it in? How did u make the space for the led to fit into? i was thinking a drill bit that can go sideways and just hollow outa valle for it to slide into. Use clear silicone to seal the edges. that is just my idea. tell me what your ideas are.

I'm putting it into a stock 82-86 Z28 spoiler (91-92 RS spoiler). I haven't figured out how to cut the holes yet, but I'm guessing that I'll rough cut it with some sort of violently dangerous cutting tool and do the finish work by hand.
i am just wondering why you are putting the brake light? dont you have one in the glass up above? or are you just doing it because it will look cool. i am ding it because with the convertible, the light is in the low spoiler. iam taking that off so ia m loosing the brake light. i was thinking about using m dremmil to make the initial trench and then using sand paper to smooth it up.
