There's another thirdgen in the Scarface video "My Block". It's a black 85 - 90 Z or Iroc with white stripes and missing hood louvers.

 

Damn, that looks just like my 83. Only diff is it doesn't have "***** FORDS" painted across the 1/4 panel.

Do any of you look for thirdgens when you see movies and videos? I certainly do. I thought that beat up thirdgen was a Cutlas at first.

 

Check out the movie SuperTroopers. There's a pretty nice camaro in it.

i am just now watching a movie called hard to kill with patrick swazy in it. he drives a grey and black z28. nice car. does a good peel out with it too.

Wasn't that movie Black Dog with the Blue IROC and a roll cage.
He squared off with a Black Monte Carlo ss. Too bad they bang it up though

 

He (Swayze) also drove an 82-84 z28 in a movie called "Next of Kin". I don't remember the color though.

There was a black IROC with those infamous window louvers in Beverly Hills Cop 2.

 

there was also a SWEET looking 2nd gen camaro in Beverly Hills Cop 2. got busted up though!!!

My favorite has to be Dazed and Confused. Alot of cool cars. No thirdgens but there are 15" RS wheels on a early 70's camaro when the movie was supposed to be 1975 or so.

 

They drive a red third gen formula at the beginning of gone in sixty seconds. Then when they go to crush the car with the dude inside that car is a sport coupe. You can tell cause it has the 15" wheels and it doesnt have the wrap around spoiler. I'm sure glad they didnt crush that formula.

 

in the steven king movie "It" they drove a red drop top IROC.

There is another video out...don't know the name of the group or anything like that but the title of the song is "MY BLOCK"....its a video that is constantly panning to the left showing the life of the inner city....

well it shows a section where these people are standing around a car and a guy is selling drugs out of it. It is a busted Camaro sport coupe with an IROCZ letters across the top of the windshield...sitting in it is a nasty looking white dude with a ******!

Just thought I would share my thirdgen sighting.

 

there's another camaro in that video, it's a nice 92 Z with heritage stripes.

 

In the new robert dinero(sp) city by the sea, there is a mid 80's camaro, possibly a z28 or a sc with ground effects. Nice looking car, the drug dealer drove it.

I am watching a movie on HBO and two women are driving a beautiful blue thirdgen Camaro Sport Coupe. They show a good portion of the car in the movie, from what I am watching. It doesn't look like a good movie so when they stop showing the Sport Coupe I am going to turn the channel.

 

How can you forget that gorgous red trans am that Eric La Salle drove in Coming to America.

 

Why is it that bad guys and villians in movies drive Camaros?

 

There is also that yellow thirdgen firebird in The Big Hit with Mark Wahlberg. I think that was his worst movie ever. In the movie the bird clearly gets it's fender bashed in and in the very next seen, you can obviously see that the fender is back to normal.

 

Beacuse they are Bad@ss cars for Bad@ss people....

 

I'm not sure but I saw a 3rd gen in an older movie once. I'm pretty sure it was "Lean on Me" but it coulda been a different one.

 

I was watching Ghostbusters today and there was a blue camaro in it.

Here's a tough one for ya. If any of you guys play RPGs and have a Dreamcast....go look in Shenmue in the first little corner store place. To the left of all of the edible cat food, in an area that you can't buy anything, there's a stack of model car boxes that have a white thirdgen camaro on them. Somebody over in Japan has a thing for thirdgens!

 

If you want to see a TON of thirdgens in a movie, watch "Hard Cash" starring Val Kilmer, and Christain Slater. They are everywhere. None of them are jazzed up or anything, but damn there are a bunch.

 

I am going to have to see that then.

 

I think there was a show called "Knight Rider" where they drove a 3rdgen.

As far as office space goes, it is in the first scene were they are driving to work. You only see the front winshield and a little bit of the hood, but you can tell the steering wheel and the hood.

 

i mwatchin cannonball run 2 and there are atleast 2 thirdgen firebirds. ones a cop car and the other is driven by sammy davis jr and dean martin. there might be more though.
