I'm pretty sure thats illegal here in VA. After my car failed safety inspection for what I thought were BS reasons(the windshield banner for one), I did some research... I remember reading that any neon lights visible form the outside of the car is illegal.

So... make sure its turned off during safety inspection or when police are around..heh.
