why is everyone so damn **** about the search key? is everyone that bored that they need to repeat that all day? If no one posted anything new this site would just be a reference site.. and no one would have any posts... if someone has a question it gets answered immediately and they dont' have to wait...

ANYWAY, i'm buying a kit to powdercoat my 87' IROC rims white... i'll post pics when i finish.

I think that the picture of RAIF just looks cool because it's a better quality picture... I've noticed that the better the pics the better the car looks when it comes to that car... so I'm thinking it'd look pretty cool in person

Thanks alot!

Honestly I think the biggest diffence it the quality of the pics. I'm having the pic developer make a photo CD at the same time. I then go in and copy the preview sized ones to post here they are usually just the right size. The color is true and the hazy/fuzzy look is not present. I also took the shot with the sun out and behind me. It gave the color more pop and made the rims shine. You can also see the painted drums. Calipers did not really show up.

As far as looks of the car...the paint was about 3 days old. I never put the pinstripes, bump strips, & fender emblems back on. The look is different, but its growing on me. It makes teh shaved handles more obvious. The side mirrors were just converted to 4th gen bird mirrors.

Thanks! Actually the people from this board who have seen it in person have said just that. I think half the appeal is the deeper than stock red. It normally does not translate to film. Adam and I fought and fought about my car. He finally went to my webpage and really looked at it and said once he took the time he could honestly say it was more quality of the pics and less the car. These last group of pics are really showing the difference. That and I'm learning what angles look better.

Just wait till we get photoshop and I can correct some of the glare and color washout! In fact when Jawz made my sig for me he had to clean up the pics cause the color was so flat. Believe me a good quality photo program is worth it. If you don't have one get the photography place that develops your pics put them on CD form the negatives. Scanning so looses quaility. A digital camera is my next step!

Thanks! The new paintjob and deletion of the bumpstrip and pinstripe helped I think, plus my scanner and /or picture program suck! They made the older pics look washed out, and faded, when even before the paintjob it didn't look that way. . It just had the typical cracks, chips, etc that a 10 year old paint job accumulates.

I tried to get those...

I tryed to order those american racing rims from Pep Boys a while back. I wanted 10's in the rear and they couln't do it, they don't make a clean offset for that wheel. Too bad, they're so cheap!!
