well, i guess you could consider this whole board a humongous article on how to restore a 3rd gen, use the search button and i'm sure you'll find the answers to most of your questions

 

well the reason i was asking is that i really love looking aty before and after shots etc

 

I see you have 11 posts mmmm I think you will be upping that a lot if your doing a full restoration!

yeah.......just do a search of EVERYTHING you can think of on the boards and you should come up with ALOT of information, take your time and read a Hayne's manual also, just to get familiar with the car....
