well heres my new anti-rice i told you guys about last wednesday!
heres the pics.for anyone that didnt see my first post about the car itself, here the scoop......
91 Talon TSi AWD Auto,102k miles,2.0 turbo DOHC,K&N with aircan removed, modified boost regulator, crushed blow off valve as of tomorrow, and NGK plugs.
im getting a datalogger for it next week so i can scan in real time whats goin on with the motor, and have a boost gauge coming nex week also to keep tabs on it.the stock one is total azz, only reads up to 14 pounds, and is inaccurate as hell.gonna keep it relatively stock till the camaro's bodywork is all done and thats lookin nice again.well enough of the talking heres the goodies!

i like the 2nd body style after that on. I looked at those kind of cars plymouth laser/eclipses/and taolons before getting my camaro. I like the alot they are just to tiny for me i dont fit real well in then i like alot of leg room. but nice car none the less, what does she run?

From a performance stand point it is a good car. I don't like the appearence or or the drive train format. The only front wheel drive cars I enjoy driving are VWs.

metallicamarors,it is kinda of chicky, but **** for a winter car,ya cant really beat it.and hey,im willing to drive a chick car to save miles off the camaro!oh yeah its an auto too.
pardonme i dont know what she runs yet.im assuming around a 15.4,maybe 15.2 on a good run.i just bought it last week and i want to make sure that everything is in good running order before i take it to the track,or even g-tech it.i might have a slight leak at the BOV,but im not sure yet.if the weekend turns out nice, then ill be fiddling with it and possibly make a g-tech run.
devianb,it isnt FWD,its AWD.i dont think i could stand a FWD that has even some *****.handling=garbage and launching is even worse!and handling in the snow,AWD takes the cake there too.and it handles really nice, even with the shiatty firehawks on it now.

Those are neat little cars to play around with. Some engine parts seem to go wear quickly when you start playing with boost on those cars though....
For winter driving though, just give me a 93-95 Grand Cherokee with the 5.2 SFI V8 and AWD

My sister has a black 92 Talon TSi AWD. Its pretty quick for a rice rocket and it looks pretty nice to. The motors are pretty durable too. At least I hope so cause as soon as the EVO VII lancer is released in the US im picking one up as a winter driver and its got the same motor
The EVO will be released in the US as the EVO VIII and it will not come with the European/Japanese spec brakes or drivetrain. I would buy one if they came with the Euro Spec AWD drivetrain ... that setup is jut so badass. Also, the engine will be de-tnued.

Hey uhh guys I'm not sure if you know this but eagle talons are eclipses.
They are built on the same chassis as the eclipse.
Still smells like rice to me.
But they are great cars despite the whole rice thing.
I used to have a Tsi also it was great to drive.

LG4Whore,im going to hav to defend myself against the rice statement.this car is NOT rice.see a stupid wing?fart tip?horrid graphics?joe blowhard bodykit?uhh nope, none of the above.this car is an import, not a *****.and it WILL stay that way.it will be a stock looking Talon that will run low 14's,high 13's.and no one will know by the looks of it.and of course the camaro will be a low 13 seocnd, high 12's car.and you WILL know by looking AND hearing it!
its going to be fun being on both the domestic and import side of the game!
