subject pretty much explains it....would you rather drop the car (mean eibach sportlines drop, no slammed camaros) or slightly raise the rear to give it a somewhat drag-ish look, like most second gens and first gens have?

hickish?? looks mean as hell high like that lol no joke

i think i would rather get new gm springs if mine were sagging.. i wouldnt want lower or higher... i just like the stock stance since it is a little higher than some camaros, but i think it depends on the car. cars with 15/16" wheels and fat tires i like stockish height, but if u have 17"+ wheels with lower profiles i would rather have it slammed personal opinion, of course

No question, lower it. Don't raise the rear end unless you plan on drag racing on a regular basis because drag cars do not handle well on street and on curves.

OH yeah, he has an unnessisary true dual exhauset setup.
That's the reasoning for his car sitting 14 inches off the ground.

I don't think your car has the distinguishing features that make a car a ******* car. For one, all of your wheels match, there is not a primered fender or door, and there is no confederate flag on there either. The rear wheels are definately wide, but they don't stick out past the fender well. ******* cars I see usually have the widest tire on the smallest diameter wheel possible.

i prefer lower all the way around!

but i do agree some thirdgens look mean as heck alittle higher in the rear..

i guess it depends on what you do the most with your car...

Drop that sucker What does a drop run for 3rd gen camaros anyways? say a 2" drop, that would put it 6" of the ground if my memory serves me correctly.

i have eibach sportlines on the car right now and i think theyre gonna stay on...i love how it makes the car look but i also like the look of a car with a somewhat jacked up rear....and disturb - the springs are about 230 and my cars rocker panel gfx are about 6-7 inches off the ground.

raise the rear if you want a pro street look. drop the front end an inch if you want killer cornering. pontiac was going to lower the Birds an inch for better aerodynamics and cornering , but saftey standards didn't allow it.

Drop it. These cars aren't running leaf springs, which means raising the rear end throws the suspension off. Our torque arm suspension wasn't desginged to have the front end so much lower than the rear, the angle of the torque arm makes a difference on traction for our cars.

86Street, your car looks good except that you are pushing the wheels out a little more than they need for the same amount of tire. I'm running 275/40's with no need for additional clearancing, so I can't imagine you having much more tread width with those wheels/tires. But that's just my opinion

in person allens car doesn't look as bad as the pic would have you thinking as far as height is concerned. it barely higher in front than stock, rear is altough rear is about 3-4 inches higher than stock

here is my plan: lower the rs

tub the 86, try to keep it the stock height or slightly taller

i agree with brad, the coil springs weren't really designed for having the back higher than the front.

i still have the v6 spring under the front of my car, which explains how it sits. i get a lot of comments around here locally, but the handling sucks.

when i do my suspension, i may go with eibach and lower it maybe an inch at most. i have enough of a fun time getting into these cars. i don't want to make it any harder.

Drop that bad boy. There is nothing like cruising around country roads at high speeds and carving corners without batting an eye.
