summer plans

How goes it? Just thought I'd run my summer of 2003 plans to y'all. First of all I've got a 1992 Camaro Z28 Convertible, it's aqua with a tan top but I'd like to change that. I'm thinking of switching to a Vinyl top because this rag top doesn't take kindly to the weather. Anyone know of any good sites to getting high quality replacement tops and a replacement window. My back window is getting really cloudy, is there anyway to fix that or stop it from happening? And for the actual color of the car I'd like to go to an orange, Corvette yellow, or a hot green. I'm not exactly sure right now but I've got time to think. Also I'm thinking of getting a Ram Air II hood and the Ram Air Induction, what do you guys think of those? I think they look pretty sweet but I haven't really gotten a good look at them. How much horse can I expect from the Ram Air? The top is a little lopsided so I'll need that rebended and just a few minor dings to clear up, but all in all I expect the whole operation to cost $3,000 to 4,000. Does that sound right to anyone else or can I expect more? That's all for now, thanks.

I think the Ram Air hoods look like crap on Camaros, doesn't follow the lines of the car well.

SS hood now there's a hood.

The Ram Air hood doesn't sound good to me on a Camaro and a convertible, it's a little out of place. What about the 70's Mustang style hood from Cervini? I have not seen one yet, and I think it looks very cool. I would go with the orange paint to make your car different. I see yellow Camaros, but not too many orange ones.

I agree with Mark. The Ram Air hoods are too curved for the boxey style of the thirdgen Camaro. The SS hood looks awesome, and I also like small cowl hoods... lke 2" - 2 1/2"
