Unfortunately, I dont know a specific model # or what backspacing... however I do know that they are made by CCW (Complete custom wheels) and are 16x10

Well, he did want the biggest!
They were taken with a 4 mp camera.....
Can anyone tell me why I am one of the very few with the wheels that I have. Most of the Formie's that I see from 91-92 are the sunk in style, while mine are flatter.... if you see what I mean...

Why do I have such crap for luck?
Mine is an '87, that was the last year for the "crappy" looking "flat" rims? I really like the newer ones, I was wondering myself why I didnt have them. That and not to mention the fact that '87 was the last year for the LG4 motor (I think), I woudlnt have minded the L69 at all, but come on, LG4?? Oh well, live and learn. Too bad I bought the car before I was very knowledgable about this stuff. Good thing I got a good price on it. Oh well, I still love my car nonetheless, nothing a little bit of $ can't fix right?
Jees.

I've had an '85 IROC (LG4) '88 Formula (L03) and now I have a '91 Formula (LB9). All were 5-speeds with posi. I mod'd each of these to make more power in each case to around 300hp (current car is still on it's way there).
Each system (carb, TBI, TPI) has it's pros and cons. I wouldn't say that one of my cars was any better than the other they were just different. The carb'd build up was the easiest and the cheapest to do.
Here are some pages to check for '305 build-up' potential:

Palric: I know that all have potential. I don't plan on leaving mine in the "LG4 mode" for very long. Plan on doing some headwork and a cam complete cam kit swap (may as well do a whole rebuild and have a fresh top-end). I think the carbed 305 has tons of potential, I just do not have the funds or the time to tap into it at this point in time. I'm comfortable with driving a "low performance" V8 for the time being, but it will change in the near future. I still respect my car, I just wish that I didnt have to start from 'so far behind' to make it a little faster, if you understand what I'm trying to say. As for the rims, well, if I ever do get the funds, I'd also like to convert those over to a nice set of the WS6 rims also. I just saw a nice sounding set on the classifieds.....I hate being in college sometimes!!
Don't take me wrong, I love my car to death, and I don't mean to complain at all. I shouldn't complain, I'm glad I have what I have!!

Dang, that really ticks me off...
I am going to have to post this question in the History section as well....
Is there no way that my car could have them from the factory? I may have to go talk to the 2 original owners of the car, and ask a few questions...
On a side note: I actually kinda like the look of these better than the sunk in style.... Are the sunk in wheels as light as these are? The flat ones are very very light...... My Camaro's 15 inchers were a lot heavier than these are.

Camaroman: I got the banner with the decal set I bought from
http://www.autografics.com/
It is originally a front windshield banner, but I already had a PONTIAC sunshade in the front so I simply put it in the back window, worked out pretty well.
You can buy a whole set fairly cheap, they are not original but look great and hold up very well IMO. Or you can order single decals there. Check it out, I recommend them. If you like decals, I think they look great and are worth the little bit of money.
