Sorry bud, guess ya just can't win.

If I really wanted to get flamed I would pull out my X drawings. The people who don't like the drawing are flamming that particular idea, not all modified ideas in general. For some people, putting on just a set a wheels is too much modifying to a car, and there are people like me where adding wheels, hood, and wing are just not enough. I hate having the same thing as someone else. I will go out of my way to make something of mine different from everyone elses.

In the future I will label all new posts that contain a drawing or photoshop pic with "Concept" at the end so that you guys that are really tired of seeing them can just skip past them. Of course natural curiosity will make you want to look.

Personally I like it, and i dont like much. It looks like a mix of a 4th gen and a Evoluzion (sp?) front end. Looks pretty nice and it could probably be made pretty easily. Keep up the good work.

It is more than a IROC, it has the RS style grill with integreated foglights. The Cowl hood that matches the body lines(forgot what it was called). Has longer ground effects, with the exhaust has dished out areas for them in the ground effects. And looks like the front turn signals where modified. And the 18 inch iroc wheels

I like the subtle effect just as much as the modified effect.

Hey Devian, you should replace the first pic in the thread to what it originally was, as I have no idea what it looks like. I'd like to check it out as I've dug all of your concepts to date.

S.

PS: I just got back from vacation yesterday, so I'm getting to my 253 emails as fast as I can! But I definitely liked the Halloween car and ALL of the ones you did for me!

The red concept's GFX on the side remind me of the BMW side skirt like this 316i in the photo. I mean it looks exactly like it. Did by any chance you did that on purpouse?

It basically looks like a cartooned verson of a Camaro. I don't see anything wrong with it. Looks pretty cool. Keep up the imaganitive thinking.

They just happened to look like the skirts in on that BMW. The Iroc skirts have a dip in the middle, all I did was exaggerate the effect a bit.

I thought someone might say that. You have to look closely at the changes. The hood as about a 1.5inch dome, the groundeffects are lower to the ground, I made cutouts for the exhaust, and added 18" Polished Irocs instead of 16s. I also integrated the 3 piece spoiler into the rear so that the spoiler looks like a part of the body instead of just attatched like a normal spoiler, I made the IROC Z decal the length of the door instead of half of it.

The last one looked good.. but the rest... wow... the pink, red and blue dont look good at all.. but thats me.. Its that most of your cars take away that look that most thirdgen owners love about there car. That sharp, sleek look of our cars. I like that sharp edge look. But the stuff before looks like an import, and if you havent taken a notice here, imports dont go over very well. this is what happens when you mix import and domestic... you get a big HUGE load of yellow crap... behold the mustangtegrasupra!!!!!!!!

i'd literally jump and scream if i saw something like that pull up to me.

i like devianb's drawings of modified cars..
hot rodders do 'em to their 30's and 40's and 50's and 60's and 70's and so on.. what's wrong with having some people change the looks of a 80's car?

I like his first concept at the top of the post.. It would be nice to see the Camaro made again, but modeled after the 3rd gen cars.. How about changing the style of the tail lights and keep the rest.. add a hood scoop, and Targa-Top.. The taillights could be a combination of thirdgen style with more of a modern appeal.. not Vette style, I think of that style a trade mark of the Vette's .. Add a duck tail spoiler similar to a 2nd gen.. but as thick as a 3rd gen.. Your drawings look great man..
