What You Guys Think

Just bought this car about to months ago . Its a 1986 Trans Am .I got it for a pretty good price I think. How is look everyone? I paid 2800 for it . Its got new paint, exhaust, spoiler, ground effects , and a rebuilt 350 Chevey. The car it self only had 89k on it when I got it and the motor had about 1k. I bought it off of one of my dads friends that need to get rid of it. So what you guys think of it ? Someone want to help here ? I have no clue how to get the picture of my car up on here.

Well welcome to the site...........

Sounds good, you have any future mods for the car??

That's a good price for a car with a rebuilt engine and new paint and what not.....

It's Chevy not Chevey..

To post a pic, go to Paint, open the pic file, click ctrl+w and resize to about 40% or so. Now resave it as a different file as a jpg. And attach it in a reply.

Sounds like you got a better deal than me. I paid $3,000 for my z28. It had 140,000 miles and the b2l had 50,000. Nice looking bird you got there.

Judging by the pics, 2800 sounds like a steal to me. Good Find man. I hope I get that lucky when I finally get another 3rdgen.

Thanks Guys . The outside of the car is very clean . I got a dent on the passengers side that I have to take out. Someone backed into it a week after i got it . Its an easy dent to take out. The interior is alright. Im going to replace the seats and consule and will probaly but in new carpet . The dash and all the gauges are in wonderful condition. The motor was just painted but its purple and yellow. (I don;t know what the guy was thinking when he painted it ) Im going to repaint it later along with the engine compartment. Rims are on the way. Im going to get some weld drag lights for it probaly around January sometime. I just put in a new exhaust and gutted the cat. I put a new Pioneer Head Unit in it along with some cheap speakers. Sounds alright. Once I sell my other car I will have money to do some mods.

FLYNLOW92rs how much you want for the nitrous bottle I got a Buddy looking for one?

I am going to change the seats and counsel to 4th generation. I like the way the 4th generation counsel looks and the seats are about the same so might as well go with the 4th generation seats so I can give my car the custom look. They will probaly be leather seats .

i want to do leather too but i don't know i mean in the summer they are going to get hot and you'll stick to them and in the winter they'll be really really cold so i don't know if i want to go leather i'm still thinkin about it but as far as the counsle goes i want to go 4th gen because it looks better than the boxy style of the 3rdgen it is more of a curved style so how are you comeing on those engine pics? and interior pics?
