Nose opinions
I have a 1982 z28, and as you guys know, the nose is a little different. It has the little holes in it, under the license plate instead of being one solid piece. Plus the parking lights are back in the nose a couple of inches instead of being almost flush with the outside.
What do you think i should do before i paint my car next spring, find a newer z28 nose?
Keep it, because its a pretty uncommon front end?
Lemme know what ya think, i could probably pick a used one up at the junkyard pretty cheap, i need a new bumper since i was hit a couple weeks ago, might as well do it all in one

Its up to you, its your car. If it were me, I'd get a new nose cause I like the look of the newer ones better. But if you like that one, then keep it. You're the one who has to drive the car, so make it one you like

I agree, do what you want, the later models have smoother corners and lack a few scoops (or in my case grills) so it is really up to personal preference... I kept my nose old simply because it identifies it as an 82.. not too many nice ones of those around on the street anymore I only see about one or two rusty ones a year.. ditto for the 82 Z28. Also remember the side and rear gfx changed with the model year... not too familiar with this but in order to ensure continuity in the look you may need to change the sides and rear cover too.
