Snypers if you plan on getting them in 17s, but if you are keeping the 16 inch diameter - gold wheels.

beeeeep! wrong.

Gold wheels = gorgeous. As long as they're 16 inch crosslace GTA style. Search this KJ::hail:

but getting back to the ORIGINAL QUESTION....I think you should decide on your own. I mean...I'm clearly obsessed with the gold crosslace wheels (and would probably get the center section of a 17 inch crosslace style wheel powder-coated gold if given the chance) and the camaro guys aren't. Nobody will give you the end-all answer.

but if it was me....Boyd Coddington Tuned Series 17 inch with gold powdercoated centers.

Get some 17" snypers, unless you have drum on the back. You need some nice brakes for those rims.

thanks for all the replies guys. I do have drums in the back, would that look weird with the snypers? The t/a in the pic with the snypers is an 85 so i'm guessing it has rear drums. I'm probably going with 17' snypers or 16' GTAs. It's a tough decision, but the drums in the back could be the deciding factor.

i wouldnt worry too much about the drums, since that can always change later on :-)

i would go with ROH ZS or Sniper wheels in 17"... although i like the ZS wheels better than the snipers hehe i would get the 16" gold ones if u had something other than white exterior, after looking at 3.1eyecandy's car, they just look awesome with that maroon in my opinion. but it might be too much on a white car.. so my vote goes towards snipers

thanks 3.1 for the pic. The snypers in 17X8 are $180 and 17X9 are $205. What size snyper would be best for me then, 8 or 9? I don't know how soon my drums would be gone in the back, hopefully i'm getting a new rear axle with discs but i don't know when that will happen. How bad will it look? Bad enough to just get the GTA's?

If you've got the money, go for the snypers. The GTA wheels are nice ( I love them - can't you tell?) but you'll end up spending 500 bucks for a good set of GTA wheels as compared to 820 for some 17 inch ROH snypers. That's a difference of 320 over a stock tpe wheel. Heck...I'd put on some 17 inch ROH snypers for 320 bucks. How bout you post a good pic of your car and we can photoshop some ROH snypers on there for ya.

thanks 3.1, the only pic i have available is from the front, but it is a usual looking 86 t/a, the nose is just black because it's new. It will be all white soon enough, and the spoiler is staying black. The difference in price sounds good too, because i don't have an unlimited supply or anything (college student). That $300 is a lot to me and i could use it. Sounds like i'll most likely get the gold GTA's. Actually, right now i have the same wheel, only it is silver and it is 15". I don't know if that ever came stock, or if those wheels even existed before the GTA, but i bought the car with them on. On thirdgenresource, i can trade my old wheels in and get $250 back. I'm probably going to do that. I'll get a pick of the side of my car up as soon as possible.
