Back to the thirdgen Calendar idea
Well as many of you know I visited this idea a few months ago but hard times made me abandon it. I know KandieZ (sp?) is also looking into doing a calendar.
I am not out to compete. I just want to do my project, have it look good, and sell some cheap to people if they want ones also.
I have completely started over. The layout of the calendar is all ready done. I just need high quality pictures.
If you have pics of your car that are HIGH Quality and a resolution of 800x600 or more post a link to it, e-mail me, or get it to me somehow. I can even set up an account on my FTP site for you to upload if you need.
soooooo. Show me what you got.
Brian71583@generation-3.com
If you wouldnt want your car in a calendar that may be sold dont bother telling me I can use it. I may also sell a few to make some money while Im in school, college is a bitch, so if you want to help out a college student, let me use your pics, buy one!

If some people have cool pics but arent very big. Post 'em anyway, I have an idea of something I can do w/ smaller pics.
I have a few big pics, but can't get them to attach to my email for some reason. I'd post them on here but it would cut down the size considerably. I'll try and figure out this mail thing.....

Welcome to use mine (pictures in link in sig). I believed I was in the original plan, but I might have been bumped out since then. Whatever you decide is cool with me, keep up the good work.
I probably have higher resolution pictures if you decide to go with mine, just pm me or e-mail me or something.

I think these are the best pics of my car.....it's nothing special just a sport coupe, but a nice one and if there's a calendar I think there should be at least one SC in there. Plus I can show off my car if I like ......
Before i go through all the trouble of getting pics of my car 86fyrbird, I'm gonna ask if you even want any, or are you trying to get a stock looking calendar???
Just let me know......and i can get some for ya, I'm taking some down at the beach this weekend cause i need more anyway....

In agreement with what FLYNLOW92rs said, if you are not looking for all stock f-bodies, you are welcome to use any of mine. I think this one is the best, and there are plenty more at my two sites in my sig. If you can't get something in 800x600, lemme know because I probably have one on my computer that size.

Hey 1991 Z28, what springs are you using? Looks good with the Y2K wheels! Anyway, did anyone send pictures to SLP for their calander? Just curious. The pictures all look pretty good so far! 86FyrBrd, when exactly do you need all of the pictures by?

Hey oldblueZ, what kinda spoiler is that??? Just wondering. Ive been looking for a pic of a 3rd gen with a Bladwin-Motion F40 spoiler and was wondering if that was it. Thanks.
you guys need better pics............something with less going on in the background.......... something like a nice hill setup like the one above. focusing on the car, but not making the car the whole picture.
pictures with houses or too close up will look terrible as well.
86FyrBrd, you need to describe what your looking for better.
here's an example of what i'm talking about although i wouldn't recommend this one either.........it is a less "busy" type of picture that gives way to room for working on it.

Feel free to use. This is one of my favorite pic because of the reflection and that it is at dusk. All I want is one of the calenders. Please let me know when they are produced.

Kandied is right. I am a graphic designer and a art major. If you need help with editing, cropping, picture selection and modification or enhancement, feel free to email or pmail me. If a pic is too busy it will detract from the main focus of the picture. Everyone can't take a good car pic because they simply don't have the training to compose. Some can and in order to make a first rate calender that will sell you need to be selective and have a concept. Sort of like an outline before you right a paper. There have been some good pics post already from a artistic viewpoint. Those are the ones you want. Look to eliminate pics that have things growing out of the top of cars, or items that are around the cars that distract. Hope that helps.

The most annoying part was numbering the days, atleast it was easy enough since in Quark you can use a masterpage instead of laying out the grid for every month.
why don't you post an example pic..........save yourself alot of trouble and free up this thread.
possibly start a new one with your exact expectations.
a good example i like to use is something like a solid brick wall just as a starting point.

I believe this would be a good example pic.

However, the fact remains that even this size of pic is junk for any sort of print publication, thats why I have all of my pics in 2048X1536 size. Man I wish I had a digital 8 megapixel SLR camera
