too close to the car.........when printed it will show alot of imperfections.

IROC_Vert, cars beautiful again yours are too close as well plus you have way to many shadows leaving the car dark.....your 3rd picture there is the best one out of those 4

please check out this site; you shouldn't have pictures with houses in them or other busy objects. you'll save yourself and everyone else alot of time.

hey kandied91z thanx for the tips. i dont wanna sound like an ******* about this but they way ur tellin us is that most of us have sucky picture taking skills becuz we take our pics in front of our houses or something. i know from lookin in car calenders depending on the car topic, i know u want more focused on the car and maybe a cool back round but why not 86frybrd (spellin on that) choose a car for each month by the backround they give u in the picture. just a suggestion. i think ill have to wait for good weather and go for a nice cruise to get some good shots

One more suggestion, for those that want their car in the calendar. If you really want some good pictures of your car, take off the liscence plate and holder. The blanked-out plate look is going to look terrible in print, so just remove it. Photoshopping over the mounting holes in the bumper is far easier to do and looks much better.

very good point on the license plate.

1982chevycamaroz28, it's fine that you post your opinion. my intentions aren't to come off that way. i just think certain things should be said. yes, i don't believe that many of the pictures that i've seen in this thread are good for a calendar. that's my opinion and this isn't my calendar were talking about. i do think that the majority of these pictures are good, they just aren't print material. most of the pictures seen are good enough to be in a small readers ride caption and that's about it.

typically when making a calendar you want pictures that are going to be article worthy. i think to many of you on here think i look down upon others cars because my car happens to be nice. i certainly don't look at it that way as i haven't even submitted any photos because i don't have anything good.

i'm just trying to help, not put anyone down. how else are you going to learn......

i can't wait to see that paint..........those multi colors will really make for an interesting combination. post some pics. you should ask your painter what pearls exactly he's using, what you have listed would make a very pink/violet colorchange car in the right light.

not sure on the kind of pearls but i talked to him today...he got all the paint done and was checkin it out in the sun and everything and said it looks great...also i was really worried about the pink issue and he had himself and 3 other guys he works with looking at the car at all different angles and it doesnt look pink at all.....hopefully my camera can pick up the color change...well we will just have to find out on wednesday

sounds good, don't get your hopes up to much for changing colors though. pearls aren't like prism type paints. i'm sure it will turn out good.

So would stuff like this work? These are extremely low res ones though....can't do much with a 100k limit...but I do have the high res copies if you are interested.

Here are a few pics if you want some of a simple, clean Formula, 91-92 style.

I have each of these pics in 1600x1200 resolution and would be glad to send any size that or under. Just let me know.

I would be so honored to have my car in there... but I know it's hard choosing cars and there are so many nicer cars on here...

If you're interested just give me a PM/IM/e-mail. Sorry 56k'ers!!!

Sorry about that, the third and fourth pics would probably be too blurry, but I think the rest look pretty good.

It works now.

Oh wow, you don't know how happy I feel......I'm in a calander. I'm gonna buy at least 10 and spread em around. I'll send you an email once I get a final count.

Thanks,
Jesse
