Valve covers

I have been looking at some edelbrock valve covers and i can't decide whether to get their solid chrome looking ones, with "edelbrock" writttin on them or the other polished ones that have the black lines in in and screws around the edges. What ones would look better on my TPI engine. I have the plenum and runners polished and i have the plenum lines and TB plate painted red.

I was thinking i could get the black lined covers and reppaint my TB plate and plenum lines to black to match. or i could get the solid chrome ones and leave my painted stuff red. what do you think?

BTW; will either of these even fit my 305? what about a 350 TPI?

They'll fit both a 305 and 350, just make sure if you need center bolts, to get center bolt ones.

I had the Edlebrock ones on my old cutlass, they look good, and were well made.

as i figures, i can't even get the elite series the way i wanted them. i would have gotten them, but when i seen them in the centerbolt pattern(which i need) they look differant and not as good. But i still think i like them. I am gettting a set for christmas and i don't know which ones to get.

So can people post pics of some good looking centerbolt valve covers?

the runners are the tubes coming out each side on a tpi engine. There is 4 tubes on each side of the intake.

Sitting Bull.... is that your engine? That SuperRam is about an inch higher than normal. Never seen that part on the bottom of the plenum before. Any details on that?

Sitting Bull,

Those are the valve covers for me!!!

Where did you get them? I know you said Proform, but http://www.proform.com takes you to a fitness page.... maybe you could give me some further info? And how much did they go for, becuase I know some valve covers are extremely expensive.

OK, OK, OK

I just KNEW a lot of you folks would freak out when I posted those valve covers and engine

It is NOT my engine, I simply found a picture of it here on thirdgen several months ago and it had those KILLER Proform valve covers, so I just had to add it to my collection

Unfortunately, I know nothing of the engine

But the valve covers are about $60 US and are at all the major mail order houses, like Summit, Jegs, etc.

Here is the link to Proform: http://www.proformparts.com/

And this is the correct part number: 141-751
