Biggest wheel clearance?
I'm currently putting together a 6-pot front caliper set-up together. What I need, is an idea of any 16" or 17" wheels with a spoke pattern which would clear the caliper. The caliper sticks out about 30mm (inc. 5mm for clearance) from the hub face.Anybody run big brakes with this sort of problem?Absolutely any help with this would be great. Thanks

You could run C5 or 4th gen rims with a set of 2" billet wheel adapters. That'll give you plenty of clearance! We've got quite a few folks road racing with them.

Hell yeah, Askulte is the man to talk to on this.. He's got what you need to get these C5 rims mounted with no problems.

Or you could contact a wheel manufacturer with a style you like and see if they can check or maybe even custom make to fit. I went with Boyd Coddington and had a set of 18" wheels custom made for my 91 Z. Took them about a month. And when its all said and done, its the same price as 4th gen wheels + adapters. Plus you get a direct bolt on fit. Up to you though. Mr. Skulte makes some awesome adapters.
