'79 Front End

I know this isn't a 3rd gen question, and i'm sorry, but i was just wondering if anyone here is a 2nd gen fanatic and can answer this question. If i have a 79 camaro Z28 with a accident damaged front end , which other years of the 2nd gen camaro have compatible front ends? Thanks in advance for any info you might have.

'78-'81 (I'm pretty sure) are all the same.

What parts do you need, I live near detroit michigan and have a nose piece, inner fenders , one fender(I think pass, not sure, have to look) and a z-28 hood , all off a 79 Z-28, dark blue, but need painting, make an offer if you want any of it

Depends on what you mean with "compatible"
All second gens will infact fit i.e. they will bolt up to your 79. However, the 78-81 is the same style front clip as your current one and the fenders will correctly line up with the body molding of the doors. The earlier ones (70-73) will for sure have a different molding, but I cannot recall if there is a difference between the 74-77 fenders and the 78-81, but I do not think so. If that is correct, you can use any 74-81 fender and then get the front clip of your choice.
