Ground Effects
Ground Effects
I'm starting to not like the ground effects on my Camaro. I would like it to look plain and simple. So my question is are they bolted on to the body/door? What is kind of adhesive is used to connect the ground effects to the body/door?
Thanks
Thanks

Once again my plans have been foiled...
Since there's gonna be holes from removing the ground effects I'll just leave it on for now and get "new" ones later.
Well, thanks for your help

yeah I was thinking the same thing...I wanted it to look somewhat like the old muscle cars (no ground effects). But I guess I'll just work with what I got.

That is the first time I heard someone not liking their ground effects on a Camaro. If I had a Camaro I would get one with ground effects, they have a more modern look than without them. The same goes with Birds, although they look just as good without ground effects.

No GFX can work well, but more care needs to be taken over detailing of the car.
I like Camaro's with and without, however i think 'birds look better without. (except 90 - 92's)

You know it!
Another example of how no GFX can work (even if i do say so myself...)
I have always liked the monochrome look, aside from the rear fog and front indicators, there isn't a colour anywhere. (front indicators might get the blackout treatment as well.)

I like the Camaro ground effects so much that I put them on my Trans Am,

here is a better shot,

I'd keep them if I were you.

I personally feel the ground FX pretty much make the car. World of difference... I especially love the GFX from the 91-92 Z28's... the "Aero" kit.

i think that the ground effects you are talkinhg about make the cars looks so good. it also makes them look to sit a little bit lower. but if you want to go plain then dont let anyone tell you otherwise youll just need to bondo and sand the holes smooth then paint it!
