My new Z24

One thing I couldn't do was buy a daily driver that didn't have some *****.

Here are some specs, the Engine has been rebuilt

CompuCam 2000
Lift:
Intake @ Cam 267 @ Valve 401
Exhaust @ Cam 282 @ Valve 423

Adv. Duration: 258º/264º
Gross Lift: .401''/.423''
Series: 2020
Cam Timing @ .050

Comp-Cam Magnum .52 Ratio, 10mm Stud, 1.52 Rocker Arms
.5mm pistons Hypertuecic (*spelling?)
60 Degree 3.1L V6 rebuilt with "Sealed Power PLATINUM" Engine Kit from Federal Mogul
K&N Air Filter
Dynomax Cat back exhuast
Stage II Jet Chip

Orginally this v6 is rated for 140hp. Desktop dyno has put the engine combo at just over 200hp. I had some fun when I first got the car last weekend taking on some of the members in our local thirdgen group.

Me vs LottaBallsCamaro first, 350 vs my v6, off the line I'm good, but its a 3 speed. Took no time for her 350 to engulf me It was fun though.

Next was Me vs Slow86TA, 305 TPI vs my v6, it was very close, I ran out of gears near 60 Dan pulled.

305 TBI did not take the v6, several GT mustangs, 4.6Ls have gone down and I've eaten several r-i-c-erockets.

This car was great for eating ********** rockets, cuase they don't see it coming, nor do the rustangs. I love that look of WTF when they look at the car.

What it needs is a 150hp shot of NOS, which I'm getting in a week or two Then people can really go WTF its a Cavalier!!

LOL

Still building up the IROC so don't worry, I just needed something new to play with and something fun to drive so I wouldn't miss the IROC as bad.

Whaca think?

Mythird car, which I'm getting in July is going to be another Z, but this one will come with off road package

This is gonna get locked anyway, since it isn't a thirdgen, but still, why put 150 shot of NOS in that thing? I think you are making too much money at your job if you're putting NOS in that.

Fix the IROC

The IROC is comign along nicely, not sure if the motor will be ready for the Nationals, but the car will be drivable and ready for the nationals. I have to lead our group there, so it will be ready!

Why you ask? Cuase I love the look when I whoop some *** in a Cavalier And yes, they pay me to much

i had a regular 2.2L auto 89 cavalier...the car was slow but good for everyday stuff. had almost 200K miles on it. i ran it with no oil for about a week too, and it kept on going.

This was a 3.L but I think its a 3.3 or 3.4 now with the bore over. Also looking for a intake off a 3.4 v6 from 96 an up f-body to port and install on the car.

Gets good gas milage

I hope you dont plan on running nitrous with those Hypurtetic pistons... If you do, say bye bye engine if you have ANY detonation or excessive heat. Those pistons are not made for nitrous, and are FAR more brittle than cast of forged. I would definatley advise agains it, unless you feel like buying ANOTHER daily driver.

Heres a few things I wanted to add...

The door doesn't match. So what? Its a beater/driver.

The wheels suck. Again so what, just wanted to say that they suck.

The engine is a 3.1 stock. If its overbored then it could be more.

Go to www.design1systems.com they have turbo kits for Fiero's that could easily adapt to the Cav.

I have a 94 Lumina 3.1 Euro that has the same engine. Its a good driver, great mileage, and it has enough power to get around most traffic.

Cool car. Let us know when you start sprayin'
