type of paint

Have a couple questions about paint.

Were painting a truck and need some advice on what type of paint to use.

I'd like to stick with Dupont but am not sure what type to go with.

I have painted with their base/clear and was very happy with the results, however my neighbour suggests their centuri? line.

Whats the method for applying it? He says he always follows it up with a few coats of clear. So does that mean it goes on dull and then shines up with the clear or does it go on like an acrylic?

Or maybe just an acrylic would be fine.
Oh and its white, if that changes things

Thanks, Jon

so there nothing wrong with putting a clearcoat over this stuff?

He had his truck painted with it about 6 or 7 years ago it it still looks great, so maybe we'll just go with it then

thanks for the help
