Windshield washer system problem...Sorry if it's in the wrong forum.

I didn't know what forum to post this under, so I apologize if this isn't the right one.

I'm having trouble with my windshield washer system. The wipers work fine, but when I attempt to wash the windows, no windshield washer fluid comes out.

I can hear the windshield washer fluid pump working and there are no puddles/leaks that I can see. Everything appears to be hooked up correctly.

Can anyone take a guess as to what can be wrong, would it be a logical assumtion that one of the hoses are blocked?

Try airgunning the lines. If you don't have one, start blowing in them and see if you can locate the blockage. If the pump works, then it has to be the lines.

Most auto parts stores sell new lines so if you locate the blockage but can't unblock it, you can replace that section.

Start with the ends where the water comes out and start with the reservoir where the water goes in - most blockages occur in those two places.

Seems to me that when I had a similiar problem, the pump made a sound but did not function. I replaced the pump and all was well.

Try to prime the pump by blowing some waater into it. They tend
to dry out from lack of use and engine heat. I would try this before buying a new pump, however; they are not that hard to change.
