Do a search. There are several tech articles on how to replace the T Top weatherstriping. altho my tops don't leak if they did I would be depressed but I also would do something about it right away. But then I hate anything that does not work so I repair all non working items right away. You can also find a tech article on replacing the headliner also. I would do both at the same time in order to be ready for the rainy season and the summer. Plan on spending aboyt $500.00 for both projects combined.

Mine leak very little.. but it still annoys me...

I'll need to replace mine at somepoint, but for now I've seen weather-stripping for sale @ Hawk's ThirdGen Parts.

are you sure it's the seals? mine leak, but it's not the seals fault.. the sealant material that held the seals was no good, thus the water was going under/past the seals. I'm nailed 90% of the leaks. which wasn't to bad for my first attempt at re-sealing them.

If you have a puddle in the floor of the passenger side I don't know if that is caused by the t-tops leaking. I would check the seal around the windsheild. I have had this problem in a Caveliar and that was the probelm. I would check that. It could also be the tops. I know I have to replace mine. Anyone want to come over and do it for me because I don't think I have the patience to do it my self.

I also have this problem. My leaks swap spots every so often. Everytime I do a power slide around a corner and the damn chassis tweaks just alittle, the leak moves. It sounds dumb, but it does. Most of the time, i just get a small puddle in the pass seat. But lately, ive noticed that its leaking in the center, and running alound the roof sheet metal and down on the back seats. When I do mine, Im gonna do EVERYTHING. Im gonna take the old crap off, get rid of any rust, re-seal the t-bar, and put new seals on. The previous owner tried to fix the seals with silicone, but did a really crappy job. Anyway, have fun. Those seals are expensive, but worth it if it stops you from gettin wet. Let us know how it turns out.

well what happends with the puddle on the floor is it leaks on the passanger side twords the back and then kind of runs down into the floor from there because the back is all wet to usually. but thank you all for the respones if anyone else has any ideas let me know i'm always open for advice.

If theres a puddle on the passenger side floor, check the door for leaks. Mine used to leak a little and I'd see a couple drips on the door panel. The weatherstripping had come loose, so I just reglued it down.

so along with the seals around the t-bar i should check the seals on the t-tops themselves along the door/window?

i have a problem with leaking but it isnt the t-tops.. sorta.

my leaks come from the window seal area. how can i fix it rather then replace it.. i figured it was a gap where the t-top weather seal and the door seals meet.

well i never take my t-tops off or do i ever plan to, so im proabably going to just glue the two separate weatherstrips together permanantly.

why don't you take your tops off? if you don't take them off just seal the crap out of them or something i don't know i just don't understand why you don't drive around with your tops off? it's great!

cause i hate t-tops. no offence, but whats the point of having half a convertable. i wanted plastic ones cause at least those are lighter. but i think ill keep my glass ones, they are in prefect condition.

that's tru but i just think t-tops are nice unless they leak but i do agree i'd rather have a hard top only because i know that it won't leak!
