HELP with tire! can I offer a reward ?

Can anyone help me find a tire, I got this set of hoosier tires with my rims and one of them is crispy (from a engine fire) and the other 3 are like new.BUT,,I can't find anyone who even sells hoosier tires around here,, what should I do,,
Should I get something close to this tred pattern or sell them to someone with 2 worn out back tires and then get all 4 new
What to do??

By the way its a hoosier radial r/s 245/ 50/ 16

HELP PLEASE!!

Don't know if that does you any good or not but, there seems to not be much on the'R/S' tires to find.

this is what it says on there web site....( if anyone cares)

HOOSIER PERFORMANCE TIRE
DISCONTINUES STREET TIRE PROGRAM

9-24-2002

LAKEVILLE, IN (September 24) -- After three years of dedicated efforts to introduce the Hoosier brand to the replacement street tire marketplace, Hoosier Performance Tire, and its parent company Hoosier Racing Tire, have decided to discontinue the street tire program.
Introduced in 1999, the Hoosier Performance Tire brand was positioned to bring Hoosier's 40 plus years of racing heritage to the performance street tire aftermarket. Dwindling margins and a general line contraction in the industry forced the difficult decision by the privately held organization from Lakeville, Indiana.

"We just had to face facts. We were not achieving the market penetration we needed to maintain the program. Our distributors and corporate office staff did everything possible to keep the brand alive, but we had to move on."

The "manufacturer" of the Hoosier street tire will assume all control of the remaining inventory and will continue to honor the "limited warranty" on all existing tires.

You might try calling every little mom-and-pop tire store in your phone book... it worked for me:

About 7-8 years ago I bought a set of rally wheels for the 81 Grand Prix I was driving at the time. A friend of mine sold me a pair of Firestone Firehawk SS tires (brand new) for $50/pr, but he only had 2. I called 5 different Firestone retailers who all said that the tires were discontinued a year earlier.

I finally started calling every tire shop in the phone book and found a place called "Expert Tire" that bought up a bunch of the Firehawk SS tires after they were discontinued. I got the fronts for about $65/each and they matched perfectly.

I've tried everyone around here and even called a few other places I found on the web but still no luck, I guess I'm S.O.L

I guess I'll try to find something with simalar tred, any suggestion,, or a place where I can see lots of tires at one time,,I already did the tirack.com thing and didn't see anything that looked close.

From the view of the tire in the picture, I would recommend a Bridgestone Potenza RE950, for a close match to your tread style, it's not exact, but close enough. The Bridgestone's are awesome tires and really shine on the wet pavement.
They should be available from TireRack.

Get The Bridgestones!

Go to TireRack's website and put in your size and Check Bridgestone & Goodyear, and "H" Speed rating. Then Click on Compare with the Goodyear Eagle HP & Bridgestone RE950. The Bridgestone outscored the Goodyear in every category! It also has a treadwear warranty. The Goodyear doesn't. The Wet handling is a LOT Better on the RE950. It's worth the extra $10 to get the better tire. Bridgestone also offers a 30 day Test Drive on their products, so if you get them and don't like them, you can call TireRack and get something different before your 30 days from purchase date is up!! How can you beat that???

Do some research for yourself, tires are the most important thing on your car, the only thing in contact with the pavement, don't be cheap when your life and your pride & joy are at stake. My .02
