cleaning cross lace rims
When i got my TA the wheels were so dirty the black cross lace looked orange. I got some wheel cleaner but that only cleans it up a little. they look a lot better but still a little dirty. What is the best way without having to take a brush to every nook and cranny?

i dont have crosslace...i have my deep dish hi tech turbos on my formula.....but the way i got all the grime and brake dust off them was used Gunk engine degreaser. Just get the rim wet as your washing...then spray it on.....then wait bout 2 min or so....then use a brush and just go over it....dont have to get really really into it cause it does a pretty good job. Thats just my opinion...i think mine came out nice. hope that helps.

if you look in the Tech Articles section of this site, you'll find nothing about cleaning crosslaced wheels.
only polishing them
Try either engine degreaser or a spray on wheel cleaner from the parts store. Start by soaking the wheels in the cleaner and let it do its magic. Go to a car wash or use a high pressure hose to rinse off the spray. If that still doesnt get in the small spots, try using a lamb skin mit or something of the sort and go over the wheels, I did this on my Bonneville, and the wheels looked very good! Good luck!

Read the label on degreasers because on some you can not use on aluminum surfaces for prolonged periods of time.
