Removed seat covers and what is the best solution.
HI.
I have pulled all the seats off and took brought them home. Then i decided to take the covers off (lot's of work) and wash the covers.
I went to dry cleaning place and was told that they would not dry clean my covers because the padding/foam inside the seat covers would dry out and brake to millions of pieces.
So i bought some upholstry cleaner (non-foamy) for the steam cleaning machine and filled my bathtub with warm water and let the covers sit in there for about 30m. Then I brushed the covers gently with a soft brash.
I could not believe how dirty the water was. There was so much sand in the bathtub.
Then i took the covers and hanged them to dry.
My question is:
1. The back covers look like brand new, however the front covers still look kinda dirty/dark. Is there a better process out there to clean covers or should i put the in the washing machine with some detergent?
Any help would be appreciated.
Happy New Year everybody.

I can't say i'd throw them in the washing machine, i've found that a good steam cleaner works really good on those, and if you know anybody that works in a professional detailing place, get some cleaner from them, that stuff works awesome for anything.
