Most recent pics of my car (immediately after washing it)

It was unseasonably warm the other day so I took the oppertunity to wash my car since I had not done so in 3 months. I wish my car had that wet look all year round.

They are the same GTA wheels I always had on my car since last summer its just that they are clean now so they look better. Once my car is dry it doesn't look as great, which is why I took the pics while the car was still wet.

I see you don't have that ugly orange-coloured run-around stripe on the car...I had a light blue one on mine, was a pain in the *** to get off! Your car looks like my friend Robs'...

It took me two school days when I was in highschool to get it off. I used some boiling hot water and razor blade. It came off real easy on the plastic bumpers, but it was a bit resistant on the metal parts of the car. I have dying to see another car that had the same color combo because I have never seen one - at least not with gold on the bottom.

I don't like the color combo. If it were a solid color, then I would like it more. I'm planning on having my car painted a flame red metalic color, but with a lot of orange in it so that it looks like a very dark orange.

I took the bumperettes off because I did not like how they protrueded from the car and besides I thought they looked ugly and generic. I tore off the mounting tabs so I could not put them back on if I wanted to. The mesh is only temporary until I could find a replacement. I have an idea of a replacement to the bumperettes, but I don't know how to go about making them though. In my opinion the mesh looks better to me than the bumperettes, but not good enough for me to keep the look though.

devianb,

What is that were the corner bumper things used to be? Is that just simple screen for say a hardware store? I have the same deal on my 89 and was planning to remove them and screen it up like you have... but go one step further and seal'em up with fiberglass or something of that nature for a smooth look similar to the 91-92 bird nose.

The look is only temporary until I can get make some slim bumperettes that sit flush with the body and have a provision for attatching fog lights into them. The mesh is just black plastic rain gutter mesh that I got from Lowes. It is very flexible and stays in place without much holding them in. behind the mesh is tinted plexiglass. It will all be replaced.
